Spring is in full swing!

We finally made it to the first day of spring, and we've got lots of fun springtime programs at the Main Branch to celebrate its arrival!

SPRING STORYTIME
Sign ups have begun for our Spring storytime session, which begins the week of April 6. We're offering Mother Goose Time (6-24 months), Toddler Time (2-3 years), and Preschool Time (4-5 years). We also have Family Block Party, a special storytime for the whole family with stories and block play!

FAMILY PLACE WORKSHOPS
Sign ups have also begun for the spring session of our Family Place Workshops. The 5-week workshops allow parents to casually chat with experts from various community organizations while children play freely with age appropriate toys. Our workshops feature a different expert every week, and include dieticians, dentists, nurses, speech therapists, and much more! Family Place Workshops are offered every Wednesday from 9:30am - 10:45am starting on April 8. for children ages 1-3.

WILD WIGGLES AND GIGGLES
If you're suffering from a case of cabin fever, there's no better way to kick off spring than in Wild Wiggles and Giggles! We're hosting a very special and very ACTIVE storytime to chase away those winter blahs! Sing songs, listen to silly stories, and burn off energy in an obstacle course! Wild Wiggles and Giggles takes place on Friday, March 27 at 4:00pm for children ages 2-7.

MAD HATTER TEA PARTY
Looking for other ways to be silly this spring? Join us for a special Mad Hatter Tea Party! Dress in your wackiest clothes and celebrate your un-birthday with Alice and the Mad Hatter! We'll have a game, craft, and a special snack. The Mad Hatter Tea Party is Saturday, March 28 at 1:00pm for children ages 6 and up. *Hurry - there are only a few spaces left!

PRESCHOOL GARDEN PARTY
Celebrate the spring season and attend the Preschool Garden Party, prepared and hosted by the Junior Friends of the Easton Area Public Library. Everyone's invited! Fight the winter chill in COCOA CLUB!

Does your child enjoy hearing about great new chapter books AND want to talk about the books they love with other children? Join us for COCOA CLUB at the Main Library! Children ages 8-11 can hear all about some new books from Miss Katie, and bring a book of their own to share with the group. If they would like, they can write mini-book reviews to post  here on the Youth Services blog!

Cocoa Club will meet Wednesday, January 28 at 4:00pm.

*Children are asked to bring a book that they have read and are prepared to talk briefly about. It can be a library book or a book from home!

Call the Youth Services Department at 610-258-2917 ext. 306 for more information or to sign up!
